I never knew my maternal grandmother but I am fascinated by her cooking notebook and the window it offers into her world. I'd like to capture some of that for our kids and our older, saner selves to someday look back and remember these crazy days when meals rarely go as planned and life refuses to be contained by schedules, commitments or anything even loosely resembling common sense. In the spirit of this agile life, these recipes too will change, tiny adjustments on each iteration. A little healthier, a little tastier and hopefully a whole lot better at the end of the day.
