Pickled Red Onion

Yummy on salads and roast beef sandwiches.


Ingredients

1 large red onion

1 ¼ cups of apple cider vinegar

½ cup water

3 tablespoons sugar

1 tablespoon salt

A pinch of crushed red pepper flakes


Directions

  1. Slice the onion thinly

  2. Combine everything in a mason jar

  3. Shake up and refrigerate for 2 hours

  4. Done


This will keep in the fridge for up to one month
